A tricky situation

I've gotten to the point now where I have stopped talking to my friends about my 'man issues'. I mean apart of that is because my man issues are now the cause of one of my friends. Its nothing serious yet but if I go on my woman's intuition a storm is brewing and the climate of our friendship is about to get inclement. I'm presently in a situation where I am casually seeing one of my friends but I don't have any feelings for him aside from the normal friends thing. You know - I care cuz at the end of the day he is still my friend. At the beginning I was thought yeah this is cool as I'm not trying to find myself in another serious relationship for a while but every engine needs some servicing once in a while. But now I see things going down hill just a little. For one, he has implied we, technically aren't casual and to further complicate things he has a girl who he doesn't love. He is just comfortable with her being 'there' - his words exactly. Any advice on how to maintain the friendship? If anyone can share their experiences similar to mine that would be excellent and greatly appreciated.

Stop sleeping with him. Guys and gals can be friends like this and then go back to just being friends. If all that is happening is a tune up now and then you shouldn't have a problem. Just be friends and let everything else just stay between the two of you. It will just end up being one of those things you share and that's it. Relax.

I got a clear sign that this is more serious to him this weekend. A bunch of us were at a party and he brought a date with him. At the end of the night when we were all walking home, he tells me that he wants to take the date home but that he wants to take me to his bed and also that he feels an 'obligation' to me. I never intended to use him. He is very flirtatious and gets around and thought that he would be okay with this. He has done it before but its obvious he can't deal with it with me. I am going to have a talk with him to call it off. We're both going home for Christmas and that can hopefully be a cooling off period for both of us. As far as the friendship - I think we will be fine after some time.
