The (boyfriend?!) went home this afternoon after an extended visit. The next time he comes to see me it will be to live at my place and start college. For one, I'm a little nervous, but mostly I'm excited. I also realize now how much I miss him. Argh XD No, seriously, I have kept myself level-headed all this time, taking it day by day, week by week, month by month. And now I'm thinking long term. At first he was a FWB because he was a pothead. Then he quit and talked about going to school again. Then he got in. And now I'm flabbergasted how this has all happened. I never expected him to become more to me. It doesn't feel euphoric and crazy, like my last relationship. It feels calm and safe and warm. Even missing him feels calm. I rarely feel like complaining about him because I feel like we can figure it out ourselves.He wants to marry me. He wants to have kids with me. This is something I know and understand as much as anything. And here I am considering I may have found my partner. I was washing the dishes and realized that though I could live without him, I really, really don't want to. I feel loved, but moreover, appreciated and taken care of, though so often I take care of him, too.Slap me with vomit faces.

I just simply don't agree with that. Sigh... that's all well and good. But we're not getting married. He has four semesters of school to complete. We're talking 2009 before we could make such a committment. If you A. read the fact he was starting school or B. knew me whatsoever or C. had a grain of common sense... oh, why bother completing the sentence. There will always be outsiders who can't enjoy other people's happiness.I have dishpan hands, they're not pretty!!Hmm... a man who does laundry and dishes. I can have that too XD Victory is mine!

Who says you can't change people. Oh man, this is actually pretty funny. My friend made us dinner in lieu of missing my birthday dinner out. And she said I changed him. We looked at each other, he and I, and had a good laugh. He was so amused. I was a little embarrased, as she has asserted that thought to me, though I've never told her "I changed him."BF?! and I talked about it later. He said though I didn't change him because I never asked him to do any of those things, I was behind it all. He said he knew he'd have to get his act together if he wanted to keep me. Insightful man
