I am in a relationship 2 months', and I have strong feelings for this guy, so please give me some advice... he feels I am controlling and i don't give him his space.
and so it begins
leave - imagine what it will be like when you have been together for more than one year.... on the other hand...your vague as to why he feels that way - are you controlling?
princes fiona
I want to know were his at., and when i don't hear from him all day I get bothered. I want to see him all the time..
and so it begins
hmmmwell - do you constantly call him to locate him - if you do - then yes - you are to controlling....wanting to see someone at the beginning of a relationship is normal...but having to keep tabs is a bit over the edge....just a thought....how old are you? and he?

two months is not long. does he have to file a report when ya'll see each other.

Whoa! Wanting to know where he is? That's extreme after 2 months. It's one thing if you have plans and he doesn't show or he's late, then of course you want to know where he is. But, wanting to know just because he hasn't called? Sounds like you're afraid he's with other women.

I've been with my BF for a few months and I would like to see him more than I do, but he has a life and things he needs to get done. If he doesn't call me then I figure he's busy or fell alseep. If you keep hounding him you'll lose him. RELAX

She strikes me as the type who calls and calls and calls...becoming more and more frustrated at each unanswered call, and he...more and more pressured, desires less and less to answer such calls...

Absolutely, I agree!

It's one thing to enjoy daily communication whether on the phone, internet or in person... it's something else entirely to want to know where he is all the time. That's really unreasonable. You'd do better in your relationship if you'd quit asking him where he is all the time, made your own plans with your friends, and let him start calling you.

hmmm, my spouse calls me many times a day to find out where I am. What's up with that?
kerplunkLYN
She knows you are at the coffee cart or in the closet or oogling the girl next to you on the plane? Wait...there were three...you flew COACH? LE SHAME!
DesiGal
Guuuut....your wife earned the right to call you many times a day when you both said "I Do" hahahah.

I feel that a relationship should be 50 50 so i would like for him just to let me know were he is at so that I don't have to wonder, also, what is wrong with talking on the phone everyday!!! I hate when a guy tells you he is going to call and he doesn't and the cell phone rings like crazy but he doesn't bother answering the phone. it drives me crazy!!!

Is this your first relationship and also how old are you? A relationship is give and take and there is nothing wrong with talking everyday my BF and I do, but I do not need to know where he is every single minute of the day. He has his own life and a brain and doesn't need a babysitter.IMO you seem controlling and when you don't have it it drives you crazy. If my bf called me a hundred times a day I wouldn't answer either. Back off and let him breathe.

The best foundation to build a new relationship on is confidence and independence. You should feel good about yourself and your life. You should have enough in your life so if he doesn't call when you want him to call you can focus on other areas of your life; friends, hobbies, etc. He is telling you in a clear way he feels controlled. Therefore, he needs you to be less clingy. That means calling him less and being more independent. People are more attractive when they are busy and independent. I know you like him but if you call him too much you could scare him away. So, just take a step back, let go a little and enjoy the rest of your life. And, try to call him less. You'll respect yourself more, and he'll respect you more.

thank you stacytiger39, I haven't called him as I used to, and I notice a difference. He has been calling me more and he even called me stranger because I dont call him as I used to I been letting him call me. His been texting me more. thanks for your advice. I will be more relaxed. Its difficult for me, but I am trying my best because I really like him and I don't want to scare him away

Well, if you do call him constantly and hound him you will def scare him away. Nobody likes to have a keeper all the time. Doesn't that get tiring too? Keep yourself busy, become more independent....he will be more interested.
kerplunkLYN
No. I think that the more you call and ask questions, the more it shows you love him. If he doesn't answer, CALL BACK! And, page him at work...
sweetlove79
Yah, keep him on his toes. If you don't call him and let him know where you are all thye time he may just think you don't care and are out whorein around.
