what do the guys actually mean when they say they like you but then they are really poor when it comes to keeping in touch...lets say like...either they say they are too busy...or they may even not reply ur texts once in a while.......just a thought cos i think it happens to many women out there...

it means they dont really like you, they are keeping you around until something better comes along, or they just want to sleep with you, and when they do, its buh bye...there is maybe like a 2% chance that they really are busy, but come on, it takes 2 seconds to reply to a text!!

hummm has never happened to me i would say that their time is going towards someone else they are more interested in than you...but are keeping you there for when they have extra time or as a back up

They are keeping you on the backburning, incase. They probably do like you but not enough. That is why they probably contact you a couple of days later or right when you think things are done. Just to keep you interested. That sucks. I hate that.

I agree with all of the other posters, he's warning you that he will blow you off when he finds something more interesting. Honestly, I'm bad about returning communication too, unless its important to me (i'm a girl). If they like you, somehow there is ALWAYS time to write back. Its when they are indifferent that suddenly they are "really busy".

i think i get the point u guys are trying to say....but up until few days back he wrote atleast almost everyday....his last msg was very touching...after that he hasnt written...do u think something went wrong or something happened to him...i was hoping it would be the what all of u told me, but the other part of me cant help but worry if something bad happened to him....any suggestions?

Well, if something bad had happened to him you most probably would have found out from the evening news. Even if he had the flu, he still would be able to type. Maybe he's dating a bunch of women now and is interested in someone at the moment. Which does not mean that he's ditching you now by any means. Only time will tell...

My boyfriend does the same thing ... he is awful at calling even though I tell him that it is very important to me ... after I bring this up he will call consistently for a few days and then back to every couple days ... it drives me crazy ... but he loves me so i guess i don't want to believe the responses
