I have been seeing this guy for 5 months, he never says goodbye when he leaves even if I am at his house he will just leave. When we go out of town he treats me wonderful but when we are in public at home he acts like we aren't together. Everyone thinks he is a nice guy but weird and that our relationship is never gonna go anywhere. He spent 10 yrs off and on with his last girlfriend. He has never been married. I am crazy about him. Am I being blind? Jeannea

Seems very odd to me. Are you saying, you are hanging out at his place, say watching tv. Then he gets up and leaves? Very bizarre behavior.

Yes that is it exactly, he is very odd , he is 45 yrs old and I think something happened to him when he was young. He never lets anyone get really close.

Perhaps he is really bored with life.

sounds like it's ok for him to be "into" you when you're out of town, where no-one he knows can see you together, but doesn't want to be seen as that serious with you when you're home. this is a sure sign of someone who doesn't want to commit. 10 yrs on and off and no marriage? not that everyone has to get married, but 10 yrs is a long time to not at least have lived together and developed some future plans. ask yourself what it is you want to have w/ this man. if you're satisfied w/ casual, no commitment, then pursue away! however if you're looking for something more serious and long-term, probably best to move on.

If I was at my guy's place and he just got up and left without so much as a "bye - gotta go - lock up behind ya" I think I can honestly say I wouldn't be going back. Too funny!

Run and run fast, if he can't even give you basic courtesy, how is he going to treat you later on in the relationship? This dude has some major issues, and your just being used from the sound of it.

He says that he is bored all the time. He is very very active all the time. I just wish I could figure out if he really likes me or he just has me around because he is bored. I still think something happened that has made him this way it is not natural .

Why do you allow him to treat you like that? Odd behavior. Maybe he needs to see a doc. Is he depressed?
